Govt higher Primary School in Chikkabasavanapura has classes up to 7th standard. It has nearly 250 students and six teachers with an additional teacher for computer appointed on a temporary basis . Some of the snaps of the children playing in a reasonably big open ground which acts a multipurpose playing field.

They now have library accommodating half the class while the other half of the class works in computer lab. To that extent as part of our first effort Athato Foundation has provided four tables(4) and twenty four chairs (24) as basic library infrastructure and also provided about 100 books as per the list provided by the schools themselves.

Athato Foundation also provided benches for the Grade 7, 6 and 5 to enable students to sit and write in teh class room.

The school can do with more support including supply of school bags, PT Shoes for children, and even small items such as more copy writing books as one of the teachers pointed out

Health and hygiene and creating more greenery would go a long way towards enhancing school environment
